Telegram adding video calling support to all its apps is good, but security is a concern as the product is open source. Hence, I would recommend using secured video calling or video conferencing apps like on premise R-HUB HD video conferencing servers, webex, gomeetnow, gotomeeting etc. These are easy to use and work well, plus provides better security.

Telegram is way much better than whatsapp, Viber and other old timers.

It doesn't take up much space in your phone and is easy on the storage. People who still use whatsapps definitely have facebook accounts and other lefty social media accounts.

It'... moreagreed. i simply uninstalled WA and who wanted to keep taking with me easily installed telegram.
i only use TG and now all my family, close friends and colleagues have it too, for those who don't, good old sms's..
Life is so much better without that shitty WA...

It's one simple app to be installed. Not going to take much time or space.
Maybe in your social circle, they don't need you as much as you need them.

I managed tough to convince my familiy and a part of my friends to use telegram. Sadly not enough to stop using whatsdrapp. But well, at least whatsapp is not at the buttom of the apps and not much use.

Andreidinutu, 15 Aug 2020My only problem is that everyone uses whatsappNot gonna lie, same story with me. I definitely prefer Telegram over WhatsApp, but I have to use WhatsApp because 99% of my friends and family are only using WhatsApp.

Best app ever! I've already tried the video calls and the quality is amazing!
In a couple of weeks there will be group video call feature.
I'm so happy that more and more people around me are switching to Telegram!

1 year ago when I decided to ditch social media cancer trio (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) I wanted to ditch Whatsapp too, being is a Facebook own app. Unlucky for me, all the people I know (including my colleagues) use only Whatsapp or Messenger for communication.
I was trying to lure them to Telegram for couple of months, then when I failed, I reinstall Whatsapp.
#sad.
