Hmmmmm I think dropping the ToF sensor is a good decision at least for now.... I mean aside from improved Edge Detection and AR stuff what else can it do....??

Does even the Ipad Pro use the direct ToF to its full potential??

I suspect it's due to software limitations, lack of VR apps.

Phone makers should stop bundling us with electronic waste in the name of multiple cameras. Several poor quality cameras supported by marketing just irritates me.

“Besides, the indirect ToF technology Samsung uses is less powerful than the direct ToF technology used by Apple.” From the article.
As per usual Apple always buys top end hardware while android manufacturers try pass off crap technology as equal.lol.

It's S21. Samsung will never copy what Huawei does. Samsung's Nomenclature is as follows. 2010 - 2019 (S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, S7, S8, S9, S10)
2020 - 2029 (S20, S21, S22, S23, S24, S25, S26, S27, S28, S29)
2030 - 2039 (S30, S31~~~~)

It would be stupid for Samsung to follow the China way of numbering. What I or everyone supposedly propose for the nomenclatures are fine as is.
