I have just received the Watch 3 but I don't see the ECG app on it. Can anyone tell me where it is? thanks
So the 3 got approval before the 2 ... this shows Samsung's priority!
My guess is that the 2 will be left to die without approval.

I was really looking forward to getting the Galaxy Watch 3, but got a Garmin Venu instead. Samsung is reusing the same sensors as in the Active 2, which are pretty bad according to virtually every test. Apple Watch seems to be the most accurate of the smartwatches for HR and GPS tracking, but it works only with iOS and the battery life is too short for me. The Chinese trackers like Amazfit are also pretty bad in tests. The Garmin Venu seemed like the best compromise.
Samsung Active 2 sits there doing nothing. The Sensors are for cosmetic reasons and for us to spent money for.
They released it on Watch 3 out of fear that no one is going to buy it since the Active 2 hasn't got any support.
Any cheap Fit band from Xiaomi or Honor 5 Band will measure Vo2 and very accurately because of comparisons with proper machines.
Classic watch designs feel much better overall then the squares for smartwatches. Good on Samsung.
