The iqoo 5 is actually a big upgrade and also a rly good phone for the price.

Just compared the specs of the iQOO 3 and iQOO 5. The 5 is actually a downgrade. It has a useless portrait camera where the 3 has a telephoto one and it doesn't have a headphone jack but the 3 does. Everything else is basically the same. What's the point of the regular 5?
They should've just released the 5 Pro as the 5 and not had a "Pro" version

Can't they just produce a normal phone. Not for gamers.with ultra fast charging ?? No need for 20 cameras... ultrafast processor. Just a phone ...bit like the Samsung m21. With ultra fast charging. That's it.

No headphone jack on either model even though the iQOO 3 had one. Battery too small on the Pro version and with charging that fast it will be half dead within 18 months and the regular has the same kind of camera setup you can get on €150 phones.

It's a lot heavier and doesn't have European band support. The iqoo 5 series has full European band support so they'd be better options for Europeans considering importing

They at least par or a bit lower with pricing of Xiaomi's. I hope that they can maintain the competition since realme seems to be slowing down.

The difference isn't huge. Two great phones but I prefer Mi 10 Ultra.

Just like Honor is for Huawei, IQOO is for Vivo.
Vivo charging same price for SD765 and lower tier camera sensor on X50 pro.
Phone with GN1 sensor and Snapdragon 865 along with 120W charging & 120hz at that price is a steal.
IQOO launched the most affordable Snapdragon 865 phone in my country.
So IQOO 5 & iQOO 5 pro should be affordable as well.
Good competition to Mi 10 Pro, OnePlus 8 pro and others.
