Currently I am using Nokia 3 (2017) and wants to replace my 3 year old aging Nokia 3. I would have considered Nokia 5.3 as replacement of my current phone. But I really hate that stupid and ugly, age old teardrop notch on Nokia 5.3. I may go for Nokia C3 with thin bezels on top for camera instead of that teardrop notch.

Like I said 2020 is year of 720p displays. Earlier they used to provide Full HD displays for lesser price on a smaller screen.

I'm using a Nokia 7 plus from last 2 and half a year. I'm not a general user. I used to root / manually flash custom os etc on my earlier phones.
But after using Nokia I forgot everything. Though it is coming with old specs but everything was so perfectly blended that the mobile is still smooth and perfect even after long time of use.
Don't compare this with MI cheap phones.
Compare with Pixel and think how Google pixel always beating all mobiles with old specs even noone can't beat Google's 12mp camera with their 100mp camera

Nokia is doing what they did before the come back. This will make them to pull off from the line. When you will get SD 720g for the same price segment. Very poor hardware.

Timing is key to everything. This is something Nokia fails to understand. With Xiaomi, Oppo/Vivo and their subsidiaries churning out phones every other month, dated hardware is simply unacceptable. Ad-free experience at the cost of poor hardware is something the market doesn't seem to agree upon.

Nokia really needs to speed up the announcement of a phone to it being available. The phone's are almost forgotten about before they arrive, plus the specs move along during that time.

Going by nokia, they have a tendency of overpricing their devices and always being late to the party with a very basic kind of offering. Xiaomi and Samsung (to an extent vivo/oppo) are enjoying their run in entry level and mid range phones. Nokia needs a real differentiator which market actually desires. Their better build quality and arguably better cameras along with stock android aren't really giving them the result.
