Sparkxster, 18 Aug 2020The 3yr commitment to software updates makes Samsung a more appealing purchase.Samsung products are the industry standard especially worldwide truthfully nothing else matters today.
Yoyoboy, 18 Aug 2020Not all play games like you. Think practically. I have snapdragon variant.U don't have to play games to prove exynos is slow just but a new phone use it for 6months and after 6months u will see the true picture i don't know about samsung flagship but i know baout every phones using exynos 9611 even apps takes time to open and its ovious exynos 9611 is slower than sd665 so it will be slow
Note10PlusIsBoss, 18 Aug 2020My Note10Plus, Note20Ultra, and TabS7Plus will enjoy this run most definitely. The 3yr commitment to software updates makes Samsung a more appealing purchase.

That Samsung phone won't ever last 9 years.
Companies should give OS updates to all models that has the hardware to support it. Samsung & Others rake in alot of profits but only give crumbs to the customers.
wow feeling lucky to choose A51 over M31s
*Crickets* for M Series phones
We'll see how well they keep their promise, i hope their updates are consistent and not buggy
Note 9 is not in the list because is Note "nein" nine
EskeRahn, 18 Aug 2020Seems like over interpretation of "By supporting up to three generations of Android OS... moreI think you are reading in between the lines to much. If Samsung are not going to update specific devices for 3 years then why bother announcing a 3 year update road map for specific models. I'm certain they will honour it.
Seems like over interpretation of
"By supporting up to three generations of Android OS upgrade"
This is by no means a guarantee of three generations upgrade. With "up to" if anything It is a limit that it not going to be more than that.
My Note10Plus, Note20Ultra, and TabS7Plus will enjoy this run most definitely.
