r33fd, 18 Aug 2020Why would anyone prefer an inferior technology? Sorry to disappoint you but OLED is actually the inferior technology. For starters it has a pentile pixel matrix which offers reduced sharpness in comparison to IPS. Then you have the flickering (Pulse-Width Modulation) that causes headaches and eyestrain for some users. Combined with the weird purple smudging when scrolling through graphics on black backgrounds. Plus most OLED panels have quality issues and reduced lifespan in comparison to IPS.

But can Asus make it sma... moreNo they won't because they even discontinue the Max/Max Pro lineup because it cannot compete with the other brand from the mainland. I watch one of an interview with their regional boss IIRC and he said that Asus will only focused on their Zenfone and ROG Phone series.

This! However, I would love for the Zenfone 7 to have an Oled display, water resistance, and wireless charging along with headphone jack and a sd card slot. I don't mind if the price increase to include these things just a little bit.

A friends of mine use zenfone every they upgrade phone. Their phones is stable, regularly updated, no issue, and the gui is clean. Zenfone may not as glamour as Samsung, but perfect for casual user.

It's nigh impossible to find the Asus Zenfone 6 in South East Asia, so I guess it will be the same this time around. So not putting any hope of this coming here

I want the zenfone 7 pro to be atleast the size of the Galaxy Note 20 ultra 5G or even bigger. A 7.5 inch bezel less flagship would be perfect for a lot of gamers.
