I can do everything that you mentioned earlier no trouble at all. I like the fact that I can easily utilize the second screen to accommodate half of the document or spreadsheet.
i think most of you never hands on the real device, only talk by watch people reviewing on youtube. Fold phone are new form factor that many people never experienced it. Me myself get really excited when use it. it's not too fragile, like people said on youtube, yet it's also not too rigid, as now not much technology to support it, there are no glass that strong yet soft enough to be folded to protect the screen. But compared to Samsung and Moto who dare to fold it inside, the others are just "chicken".
Owning the first gen fold I absolutely love this device. The crease is noticeable for about the first 30 seconds when you initially turn the phone on and I haven't noticed it since! Working in the digital space, having a tablet on hand whenever I need it is perfect! Will definitely be upgrading to the second generation!
Folding displays will prove to be a failed attempt that will never truly catch with the market. A huge waste of money that will artificially increase the prices of regular phones because of the wasted resources used. I have higher hopes for VR to revive, even 3D TVs rather than phones with folding displays, but hey, I might be wrong.

Once that beautiful 120Hz display is in action, the slight crease becomes even more insignificant.

See how ridiculous your question is? Why transition from a perfectly fine concept (bezels) when the replacement (notch/hole) is NOT EXACTLY A SOLUTION? consumers like you are the problem. Stop justifying the crap these companies do.
At least for headphone jack, no matter how I also hate it. I know it's for selling those wireless earbuds. So it's a logical reason for the companies to do that.
But for notches and punch holes? Why bother cutting the display? Can't exactly call it bezelless if the phone has a freaking notch or hole in it
Bro,
I played with the device this week and the creased did not bother me at all. I was on youtube and the crease didn't even show. AGAIN THE CREASE DOES NOT BOTHER ME for ive been wanting a device with 7.2 - 7.5 inch display and hope the Note series will hit 7.2inch by now.
Believe me the fold 2 will be easy on your eyes and the quality of the display is pretty good. too bad it only charge at 22.5W-- dissapointing. I GUESS samsung found out the next Apple Pro Max 2020 will charge at 22W (and had to throw in that extra 0.5W ) -- at PD LEVELS.
oh and yeah it thicker when closed but who cares for it didnt bother me at all compare to my current Note device. The other bad thing about the phone is that is $2k and that's out of my budget..... or is it ;) Wuahahahahahahahahahha
If I were rich I'd definitely buy it, I don't even mind the crease. Reading stuff on such a large screen would be so convenient. I know I could use a tablet, but I can't put a tablet in my pocket so that I can always have it with me.
YUKI93, 20 Aug 2020That obvious creases in the middle made me super appreciate LG's DualScreen case solution... moreI have to strongly disagree. The primary reason I see for having a larger screen is displaying more information. Spread sheets, email clients, desktop formatted web content, video and image editing software all benefit from larger work spaces. Having a split display negates many of those benefits that are minorly or not impacted at all by a small crease.
That obvious creases in the middle made me super appreciate LG's DualScreen case solution. It's way, WAY more practical than the Galaxy Fold/Z Fold2. Plus, I don't need to bring the case along all the time as I can easily detach it and put it in my bag. It just couldn't get any simpler than that.
I cant afford this thing but even if i do i dont like the crease

What better thanna freaking punch holes nowadays? I guess u r about to come up with your under dísplay tech? Are you planning on surpassing Samsung for market leader 🤣🤣🤣🤣

FreezeGame, 20 Aug 2020Wow! I bet you told that lie with a straight face! Smfh. Day one purchase/preorder for me. ... moreOk correction punch hole inside and outside. No better than notch lol. Samsung for a supposed market and innovation leader still doesn't understand nobody likes those holes and notches and it's not just about likes and dislikes. They freaking occupy the screen. The fold series is their innovation flagship series and they still putting these craps in here? So much for being a "leader" lol
We have to not to purchase Chinese foldable phones , yes , but the mi foldable phone is far better than this Samsung foldable z phone
