That trackpad is the feature that every single Windows laptop manufacturer should copy in a way that doesn't infringe Apple's patents. I'm actually glad that there's finally an equivalent feature on Windows side. I'm a Mac user, by the way.

I know there is severe anti-China sentiment in most parts of the world now, but the Matebook, at least on paper, remains one of the most impressive Windows laptops. Even the professional ThinkPad comes with a cinemascope 16:9 screen rather than the more useful 3:2 ratio. As for the 1kg weight, well, Huawei trimmed has got the screen size down a significant inch. Yet, an impressive piece of kit for a couple of generations now.

Huawei share is such a useful feature for somwone like myself, who is constantly sending files between my phone and my laptop but I wouldn't get a matebook becasue of the 3:2 ratio which is absolutely terrible for what I do (photo editing). If Huawei made a premium laptop with a 16:9 or 16:10 then i would buy it in a heartbeat. Also a bigger screen would be greatly appreciated.

It is a bit pity to launch in August 2020 a new thin laptop with 10th gen Intel IceLake processor ... when in September 2020 Intel shoukd officially release Intel 11th gen TigerLake processors with many significant improvements (LPDDR5 support, PCIe4, USB4 and Thunderbolt 4, new Intel Xe graphic,...)

It would be much more appealing if it was based on the new Intel 11th gen TigerLake processor...
