Why is everyone so pissed about this when in reality, no one should give a F? Apple's marketing allows it to fool people with deep pockets, who don't need to care about getting shortchanged. They are rich and an Apple product is their wealth on display. Credit to Apple for working them. I am a €150/$150 Android user and I feel I get more out of my device than I would have with a 'jailed' device 6 times more expensive than the one I have; with both lasting me 3 years.

I have owned multiple iPads and now the iPad Pro and not had any bending like millions of others, your father is just part of a small group that has clearly mishandled the device.

He accidentally sat on it a few times leading to some bending as he is around 250lbs.
Tried to bend it in opposite direction to straighten it up resulting in it getting cracked.
Next thing you know, it was in the dustbin.
Imagine the embarrassing moment when you gift someone an expensive device thinking it's the best tablet on the market only to realize its cheaply made to make more profits.
Why do you keep telling everyone to buy tiny 720p iPhone SE?
Who in their right minds will downgrade from 120hz 3k display to 10 year old boring design?

That is barely easy and if it were easy sales would not be through the roof, profit and valuation numbers don’t lie, nobody hits a $2trillion valuation with cheap products. :)
No normal person willingly bends their new device. :’D
I know it’s difficult for you to be happy due to the poor experience you have in android,I would suggest you at least get yourself a iPhone SE 2016, it will probably still get more updates than whatever android knock-off you are using. :)
