Mediatek proccesser quite good as compare snapdragon in day to day task as well gaming
I am using redmi note 8 pro from last 10 month and it give best performance

Snapdragon is far better choice than mediatek, as better support for gcam, better cell reception and in other aspects too.

MediaTek has come up with the new Dimensity 800U which would have been a much wiser choice than the Snapdragon processor. It anyway has heating issues and likely won't even be as affordable as MediaTek
