186.9 - 93.3 x 2 = ... moreIt's cause GSM didnt write the folded and unfollded dimensions numbers in same order. For unfolded they went with wide, length and thich. For folded they went with length, wide and thick.
They should have it on both same order as first length then wide and thickness.

If regular phones can be charged 1400$, why can't a next gen product like foldable be priced the same.
I don't have a problem with the price but I do have a problem with last year's processor.

Snapdragon 855 is perfectly fine, but why is this thing priced at $1400 when the LG g8x costs HALF the price?
$600-$700 would make the surface duo a really good upper-midrange device.

This doesn't have the room nor battery capacity to compensate for those. They could've looked at an 855+, but that might've exceeded their heat dissipation capability and thus throttled to standard speeds anyway.

Microsoft is now taking credit for a year... moreThey are not taking credit...someone else is giving credit and others gawk at it in surprise...or throw money at it. In this case Microsoft is simply following any other Android maker in line and jumping through the hoops for everyone to see lol...I never look at performance candy or ratings since I use a mobile for stupid mindless tasks that have little bearing on anything

186.9 - 93.3 x 2 = 186.9 - 186.6 = 0.3mm, the gap between the two slates, large enough to avoid rubbing but small enough to be almost unnoticeable.
all in all, unfolded, is shorter (186.9) and wider (145.2mm) than a regular, un-foldable, 8" tablet, but by far thinner. samsung galaxy tab, for instance, is 210 x 124.4 x 8
