Does any know why the Pixel 4A 5G is not being made available in India? One would think that Google is focusing on India the largest smartphone market globally after China.

I wouldn't be surprised to see SD 765G in the Pixel 4a 5G since it's meant to be an upper midrange 5G phone. But that same chipset in the Pixel 5? I'm not sure if I want that.

A models didnt... moreYou may have forgotten what the purpose of the Pixel range was... it was about giving developers a stock handset and lead the industry in an "idea" of what Android was aimed to do. It wasn't meant to take sales from other Android makers. Everyone could be a future developer so it was sold as a more mass market available phone than a niche one but it was never about being a Galaxy S or an Xperia 1ii

iOS Suxxxxx, 21 Aug 2020You think the NSA and others don't spy on Amrican users? Maybe, but I'm not going to suddenly disappear if I say something bad about the government like you would in china. If the found a crime I would still have a trial. The nsa would still have to show that they had the authority, probable cause, etc to spy for it to be admissable. So I got that going for me. China censors and monitors everything, you are crazy if you think Huawei isn't "giving" away access and probably helping chinese government spy. You wouldn't, and couldn't get that sort of thing here.

Google is once again failing to understand the product they're selling.
A models didnt sell well because theyre cheap but because theyre priced amazing for what they offer, which was never the case with their previous models
Now they're about to make the same but even bigger mistake with Pixel 5. They will lower the price but for 700€ the specifications are an insult and they will also lose the customers that want a premium phone.
So overpriced premium segment to waaay overpriced medium segment.
They will do anything but offer a premium hardware for competitive prices
