And it is sa... moreJust put a phone case on it so the two screens don't touch each other when folded, and idk why people are saying its underpowered the SD 855 is still a very fast cpu and can play all the latest games at max graphics at over 60 fps, I would've complained if it was a SD 700 series as those are budget CPUs. Probably the two main reasons MS didn't include a better CPU one SD 865 and 865+ are outrageously expensive the reason why the Samsung s20 and note 20 line are so expensive, and also why google switched to mid-range chips to reduce price, basically with a SD 865/+ it would've been 1500$ plus, and secondly the duo folded out is one of the thinnest phones ever and they wanted to keep it that way meaning a smaller battery and the 865 sucked to much power and needed a bigger battery, also explains why this phone doesn't have 5g or 90-120hz screen because it would draw to much power. With those said this isnt something to replace your phone think of it as a pocketable surface that can make calls

Wow, I was sure this device is gonna fall behind the competition, still people literally think this is good for such a price?
Imagine what kind of Notebook you could buy for that money or even an actually good foldable (and not a fake foldable lol).

And I am not interested in buying and it is not interesting to be (maybe reviews will change my mind) I just wanted to show the flaw in this and many other poll

I love the idea, but 1400 is a joke, samsung can justify the fold by saying the tech is expensive, but theres no tech here, just a hinge, and "we wanted to focus on getting the hinge and form factor right" doesnt cut it, a kickstarter project...maybe, but not the flagship of a trillion dollar company.
They could justify the lack of 5g (the modules are chunky) but the old chipset (exactly how does using a newer, more efficient chipset effect the design) and lack of NFC (which could be deal breaker for regular mobile pay users)
I had a lot of faith in this, I didnt mind the bezels (for pen usage they can be helpful) and lived be mide form factor....nut they screwed it, with what I can only think is sheer laziness or cost cutting, which should backfire though maybe it wont, consumers rarely make sense....looking at you mac buyers!
Much like the surface, surfacebook and surface laptop line up, which inovates...then rests on its laurels for 4 generations+, this might work, but ONLY because other oems fail so miserably to make something better.

I really like the device. Way better than the Samsung fold with the complicated screen but still thin enough that the divide is not intrusive. My only real issues with the device are the hardware.
Older processor, low RAM and storage as well as low battery are the biggest problems. If they can fix these, I would buy it.

this is good enough...
but if i am going to choose a mobile device for productivity, lg dual screen is what i will choose... it is so versatile... velvet, v60, g8x, v50 have it... yet underrated kind of foldable implementation...

How ironically to see this article straight after Kinone and KinTwo flashback. Well Microsoft can add Surface Duo to same failure list as this abomination will fail in no time, unless Microsoff will decide to cut price in half which probably will after no one will bother to buy soon :))
