All the money Apple makes off of it's customers for those iPhones they are worried about 80 dollars when the phone is still over 1000 dollars, plus whatever iTunes and whatever they charge people for, lol give me a break! Rip off. Apple is always trying to cut corners and give it's customers less for more money!

JDK, 21 Aug 2020This is pretty good, if we get 5G for no extra or a little extra cost, then that would be great!It will make competition cry, they already have huge increase in prices thanks to adding 5G and people aren’t buying those, for example S20 is big flop. So if Apple can keep the same price it will make iPhone look kind a cheap compared to phones like Note 20 etc.

There's simple reason for that, by far most Android phones sold are cheap low end phones which people just buy when they visit stores and need new phone. Pandemic hurts those sales a lot because people don't visit stores like before so those regular daily sales doesn't happen.
People who buy iPhone knew that long time ago and they want that phone and buy it when it's possible. That's why Apple is least impacted with this pandemic.

Not a good choice though. This is a huge beta-testing on Apple's side and the one that will tank the cost would be the end-user in the long run. This is by far one of the worst trade deal ever since 5G is not even considered a "need".

This is great, so the user won’t have to pay much more, it’s interesting how Apple managed to still get great sales, great profits and $2trillion valuation in a pandemic while the android competition increased their prices and still can barely profit due to their poor efforts in creating great experiences. :)

Good on Apple for bringing manufacturing costs down, but they're probably not going to lower their prices because of that. Heck, they'll most likely raise their prices even more despite them being cheaper to produce, all for the sake of keeping their status as a "luxury brand."

People started cancelling their yearly contracts and are satisfied using pre-paid calling services.
Phone companies worry that their 5G models are very expensive, let alone the 5G internet contract-plans.
Very contradictory !
