Anonymous, 22 Aug 2020Now I get why you always complain about Samsung and Apple. You a Huawei fanboy makes senseBut that's because they are scammer
Anonymous, 22 Aug 2020Now I get why you always complain about Samsung and Apple. You a Huawei fanboy makes senseYes, you are right, but most likely this H Lant.. owns some cheapo huawei device, thence, hates the other two companies, in her mind, a huawei device ( an expensive one) should be an unreachable goal, but more attainable than an apple or samsung one, sad haters, no objectivity whatsoever, just bitternes and frustration..

You a Huawei fanboy makes sense
Right now I would consider it only if it comes with a Jack and xCloud support. Using such specs filter, it's easy to choose a phone, not much to choose from.
Man I love Huawei so much - their recent phones are the best in the business. No others can beat them. Their cameras are the best in the world as well.
That white Mate 40 Pro - Oh my god! I will buy that one on release even though it doesn't have GMS. I want it for the best camera in the world. Both Apple and Scamsung are years behind Huawei camera tech. Huawei 4Life.

Whackcar, 22 Aug 2020Qualcomm can apply for a license to work with Huawei, and that would allow them to sell their ... moreAnd since they can't produce their own SoC and Mediatek also uses US tech and Samsung may not give Exynos (Huawei may not even go for Samsung) and Qualcomm not getting a license their SoC stock is limited it might be enough to get through H1 of 2021 but I don't expect anything more even if they have secured more by that time those chips will be seriously outdated
Whackcar, 22 Aug 2020Qualcomm can apply for a license to work with Huawei, and that would allow them to sell their ... moreAccording to rumors Qualcomm has already applied but I don't see them getting a license not yet actually and Pixel is just one phone Huawei releases phones around every month they can't keep using mid range SoC from Mediatek they need Flagships too and I doubt Samsung will supply them with Exynos and I won't mind Kirin 820 or Dimensity 1000+ over Exynos unless Samsung really up their game like when they released Exynos 7420 with S6 series

As long as that IL-2 aircraft poster hangs on the CEO's office wall there is no end for Huawei.
Good products but as always, politics can ruin anything.

Giv... moreThe thing is: even if Trump would allow Qualcomm, Mediatek, Samsung, AMD, Intel or others to sell chips to Huawei, the customer can never be sure of a steady supply because the license can be revoked at any time.
LG Superfan, 22 Aug 2020Snapdragons are US so Huawei can't use them and Mediatek doesn't have a flagship SoC... moreQualcomm can apply for a license to work with Huawei, and that would allow them to sell their chips to Huawei. It would bring business to US, so i don't think the Orange Man would have a problem with it. He's doing everything he can to get reelected.
Even if that doesn't work out, they have other SoCs to move onto. If Pixel can get away with using SD765G, then Huawei could get away with using Exynos or Mediatek.
Why are we assuming Pro+? Are we forgetting the X? When did Huawei say they were giving up on that one?
Everyone here is saying Huawei will die. Don't forget the elections are coming in November and Trump has more than 50% chance to lose to Biden. If that happens, Huawei will be back to business because democrats are against stopping business with China, unlike Trump.
Of course, if Trump wins, it's another story, it's be much harder for Huawei. I hope not, they make amazing phones.
Whackcar, 22 Aug 2020It's definitely not the last Huawei flagship. They may have to use Snapdragon chips, but ... moreThat won't happen by any chance. The CEO stated "We'd rather die taking a step forward rather than letting it go."
