Google may as well revive the Nexus branding if they are going to use mid range specs and sell it for 399 or less. I for one would love a Galaxy Nexus/Pixel phone with raw Android. Seems like big G has lost its way with its mobile devision.

Hanif Fikri, 22 Aug 2020i would rather go for other SD865 phone with no updates, bad camera and software :POr just get a OP Nord if you want a mid range phone using the 765 SoC and similar OS upgrades, all be it a bit slower.

It's just battle of the rumors at this point. That ImjustsayingJC fellow was pretty confident a week ago. Now there are others saying that this render isn't fully representative of the actual device.

Not a fan of zero bezels, I often find myself holding my phone with one hand BY THE BEZELS (Pixel 3A) which is convenient. I can't imagine all the ghost touches if there will be thin bezels like dat.

I can't wait to see the result.
If they do not mess it up (that would be a first one for Google), I would not mind to downgrade SOC of my current phone.
I want a decent battery (lower power SOC can hopefuly deliver even with smaller battery) and good camera - I do not care for 60+Hz, wireless charging or even reverse etc. - AKA I do not play Fortnite on a phone.
BTW Ultrawide is good, great even when a manufacturer at least tries + Google was flexing some algorithm few years back that they can make ultrawide photos really pretty - I would love to see that IRL.
But I should not let myself be hyped, Google track record insures we might have another trainwreck.

I've explained to him a OnePlus 8 Pro would be much better, and still has that stock android feel but he's not interested unless it's Google. Worse than iSheep!
