James Whister, 24 Aug 2020Just asking, in daily use, does 120z really matter? And what's there except smooth scrolling?Yes it does matter. I do not own a 90/120hz phone, but on games on my pc it looks much smoother
Even the jump from 30 to 60 on yt videos is mind blowing
The smoothnes is great
Tell you what, if you have a pc and have gta san andreas on it, try and play it a bit with the default settings, then go to display settings and change the frame limiter to off
Tell me how big the difference is
Depending on your pc and monitor, you will have jumped from 30 to 60 or even 90 (all the way up to 144hz if you own a real gaming monitor). It's much smoother
Anonymous, 24 Aug 2020Those 120hz panels offer all that.

usually high refresh rates do not pair with good colour gamut coverage and low delta (have the foggiest what these mean?), or at least not at reasonable prices. how many fast gamer monitors to be used with cad or photo processing you know? all in all, if you buy a smartphone just for showing, do not assume everyone else does the same.
I wish it will at least include a 90hz display

I personally have OP8 pro, no tint issue, perfect in every way.

AlexP, 26 Aug 2020It's your dreams. I know what I'm talking aboutClearly not because iPhone userbase keep growing. So it means more people coming to iOS than leaving. Also Android flagship sales aren’t growing, they are going down year after year. So if iPhone users would switch to Android it would show in Android flagship sales, but Apple owns high end market.

They are accurate only within certain colour gamuts. They can't even produce D65 white point. How can you call them the best display man. Everyboday inlcuding you know that Samsung and these chinese smartphone over-saturate colours and they even have colour tint issues. So yeah they are not the best.

I understand that iPhone user tries defend iPhones, because a lot of iPhone user move to Android phones with better display features and much more. iPhone is behind of some Android phones. It's ok

Forget TN..Even IPS monitors from 2019 have hugely improved pixel overdrive and 1ms response time integrated inside them. Even IPS and VA panels are crossing 240hz. About motion blur, lol. People buy HRR to reduce motion blur, and not increase them. Well yes, overdrive does cause overshoot, but there is VRB to combat that. There is solution to everything, but not your ignorance.
