Anonymous, 24 Aug 2020Incoming iJokerrs to justify the 60hz screen. They have one phone to manufacture in the entir... morei'm already fed with the jockers advocating 120hz screens... for what i'm using it, my 60hz phone is doing just fine. browsers, photos, documents and office apps are looking the same on both 60 and 120, but the 60 costs less. i'm infinitely more interested in resolution and colours coverage and accuracy....

I was kind of hoping for it to come out with the 120hz. Would have made the user experience smoother.

Supply issues?

Apple does not want to use and increase the cost. They want to keep or increase price to keep high profit.

Well, they were looking for ways to offset the 5G cost right? 60Hz screens would help (unless they are locked into those 120Hz panels and just have to drive them at not that)!

I don't buy this. So many manufacturers use high refresh rate displays and the biggest tech company in the world can't get hold of the drivers? I think these rumours are created to drive up conversation, get everyone heated, then pull a stunt when the phone is released with the 120hz display.

At $650 the display needs to be at least 90Hz or there is no reason to buy an iPhone 12 over a XR or 11. Those two phones still out perform and our benchmark any snapdragon chip

I have been waiting since iphone X and now if they don’t give 120hz i have to keep waiting and i think a huge percent will do the same so if even they have to delay they should delay than giving the same thing for one more year

Hope the screen size would be compact 5.8 inches

The bigger screen is a nuisance for those who travel and we need 2 hands to operate
Small screen advantage is 1 hand operation, fits easily in pocket ( pickpocketing can't be easy, big screen phones keep peeping out of pockets and chance's of losing is high)
