Anonymous, 08 Jul 2012Wahahaha! Tried drying phone in a microwave?!?!?! Seriously?!??? Nice try Samsung!Huh??? nice try samsung? Its the person himself admit it not samsung..read with ur eyes not ur but* xD
Well maybe you guys should read the report before blasting a company that got a governmental body involved to investigate the issue and post their findings.

Far better then Apple who put their faith in a Company that treats their staff like animals as a safety measure by placing safety nets around their building rather then tackling the problem to investigate the problem and even pay people to keep quiet.
Want to a phone exploding on video watch the iphone on the security cam.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2012Wahahaha! Tried drying phone in a microwave?!?!?! Seriously?!??? Nice try Samsung!MMMMM Seems the comments about this article come from misguided individuals. What do you mean by "nice try samsung". This guuy was clearly trying to commit fraud. He broke his phone and tried to have it replaced. Samsung have nothing to do with it .. this is an excellent phone! Read the article properly people. The OWNER of the phone ADMITED the phone was damaged by water and they tried to fix it!
The best way to dry out a water-logged phone is to place it in a bowl of rice above a boiler or a raidiator.
The rice will absord the water as it exits the phone, so it doesnt sit in a puddle of water.
cavern c, 08 Jul 2012When you look at the phone carefully you see minor damage at the charger port compared to the ... moreMicrowave heating doesn't heat every spot inside the oven at the same temperature, It heats more on every wavelength node distance and that's why most microwave have a moving platform, in order to cover these cold spots inside the oven the food moves so every piece of food gets hot inside.
sunoj, 08 Jul 2012obviously this is what all companies says when such a thing happens. By saying this company wa... moreend-user has admitted to the phone being wet and retracted his/her accusations. clearly not company fault.
When your phone falls in water immediately remove the battery& DO NOT dry it in the sun neither a microwave or "Hair Blow Dryer". All you have to do is use a strong STRING STRAND attached to your phone's string strand's handle on one of the edges then tie a longer& stronger string on the strand& SWING your phone vigorously but carefull not to break the string strand. The Centrifugal Force exerted by the circular motion onto the phone will force water(even the tinniest of drops) to be ejected out of the device.
Do it for like 2hrs continously& your phone will be completely dry!
I did it with an old sonyericsson& recently with my galaxy ace after I both accidentaly spilled tea over them :-(
It works perfect.
Guys never prefer buying this phone... This is what s3 is... Shame on Samsung

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2012Wahahaha! Tried drying phone in a microwave?!?!?! Seriously?!??? Nice try Samsung!. According to him, the phone was exposed to water and "another person" had been trying to mend it. i'm not sure of your'e level of english but "him" does not mean samsung that means the guy that tried to get money from samsung by "microwaweing" his phone....ahhh duuhh...and i personally wouldn't be surprised if apple payed him...
designed for humans who don't take bath.....lolzzzz
ssmmu, 08 Jul 2012 thats why i recommend my friends not to use microwave for a wet phone .just keep it in sun fo... moreput it in rice not the sun as the rice absorbs the water where as the sun can course condensation and then corrosion
to be fair its one handset out of millions so their story does make sense. if it was more than one then fair enough
Of course he put his SGS2 in a microwave, when in every forum on the internet Apple and Nokia fanboys bash SGS3 for its cheap plastics and ugly design. He thought SGS3 included no metal.
Proof: GsmArena Red Dot awards' comments:

So if the same thing happened on a Nokia Symbian phone:
" The only way it was possible to produce damage similar to the damage recorded within the owner's damaged device is because Symbian is a burning platform"
obviously this is what all companies says when such a thing happens. By saying this company wash there hands, but people eat food.
