The difference become even bigger when touch screen is involved.
Me personally never going back to 60hz ever again.

Vegetaholic, 26 Aug 2020i have screen at home which says 144hz and if that sticker wasn't there, I would not have... moreThen you don’t have it enabled :D I bought 32” Samsung gaming screen week ago which is 144hz and when i finally got it working with 144hz there’s no going back. It’s ridiculous smooth when you move your mouse cursor first time.

If you aren’t seeing difference it means you don’t have it enabled, don’t feel bad many used their screens even for a year without knowing they actually don’t use the 144hz and are instead using 60hz. Propably feels quite dumb afterwards :)

Wow, that's totally unexpected except it totally is considering that Apple phones are considered luxury items and bought by more well-off people and also the fact that it's near impossible to pirate apps in the Apple walled garden which is totally possible in Android.

And even uploading files to the iPhone is a major PITA but pretty much trivial for android users. Overall you must be stupid to buy into the Apple ecosystem because not only devices cost more, everything else costs more as well.

Apple and Google needs to be broken up according to antitrust legislation. They're destroying business and innovation to ensure they get to keep all of the industry's profits.

This is why the Apple spinsters has stopped posting those quarterly Apple hypes in the line of "Apple earns 150% of the mobile profits!". Because, it's a bit too much in-the-face in this moment in time.

Only way to make this work for the Epic part is to make there own skin for android and make there own gaming phone and start to sell them like that. Then they have there own epic store where they get all there profit. Not giving there games to google store or apple store. Sooner or later kids will buy these gaming phones to get to play the games if they dont get them from apple app store or google play store. When these are left with the games like candy crush and card games or just the typical free games without multiplayer. And if they make the shop available for other players and dont take the cut like apple and google 30% then i bet the rest will hop the ship too. Ask like 10% of the microtransaction instead of the 30% and all go in there.

30% is just stupid much to pay for just to have your game data looked over and have back door for your software for google or apple so they get the maximum profit out of nothing basically.

Anonymous, 26 Aug 2020You mean the same as Google, Microsoft, Sony, Valve (steam) and Nintendo? lol uh, except you can choose to get titles by alternative source in all of them... Plus steam is tiered, so if you earn >50M, you only pay 20 percent. Same for MSFT. Sony and Nintendo have a high barrier of entry so mostly good stuff gets through, they charge for that

MHanz, 26 Aug 2020Correction Apple store swindled 22.2bn and still pays less taxes while doing it.A lot of companies are doing that. It's the loophole of the system.

30% of the REVENUE of a business is a fair cut for providing hard drive space? Are you stpd? That's basically the whole profit margin and then some for most companies. For providing a digital folder on a hard disk drive in a countryside warehouse.

All charges must be done at the customers end not at the developers. Tools, Framework by itself not going to make a system vibrant unless developers, adopt, improve, learn, come along etc...heavy investment for developers especially if they are managing the app server infrastructure in managing user data. Apple already charging each developer annually...that’s more than sufficient

I'm sure devs enjoy making games for iPhones and there's a reason why it's so we'll optimized there. I never own an iPhone, but the way I see it, it sure is an amazing device for smartphone gaming.
