Zteam, 27 Aug 2020This is not true my Xiaomi Mi 6 has been getting updates for 3 years now. 2 Android updates... moreMe too I just sold my mi 6 1 months ago, and yes I installed miui 12 chinese version, mi 6 Has got miui 12 chinese and will get the global version soon wich make it more than 3 years of updates, the mi mix 1 also will get it in the latest patch, miui gives me the best experience, having ios on my phone)(even better than ios) without restricions from ios, and yes the mi 6 was amazing the lcd display was very sharp and amazing, sd 835 was also very powerful, the battery was still amazong considering 3350mah after 3 years and the in-hand feel also is amazing, from miui 8 to 12, now I got the mi 9

The price will be between 400 and 500 considering the last LCD flagship Honor 30 Pro was at that price point. These Mi 10T will be budget flagship or flagship killer considering the LCD display. Glad to see that Xiaomi listen to consumers that want more for less!

2 Android updates and from MIUI 8 till MIUI 11 (and maybe MIUI 12 too).
With that being said, they could have improved the camera a bit plus Security patch is outdated by about 1 year now, but keep in mind the Mi 6 is over three years old now.

I'm not defending Xiaomi, I hate their latest policies to keep the best for China, but stop spreading lies!

Every person has some preference, right? There are some brands/products I'm interested in and some I'm not or maybe dislike for some reason. Also, is nothing wrong to be a fan of a particular company, the problem is being only a fan of that particular company and defending it blindly, just because they have a cheap price. Cheap price is not all the time a good thing.
Their software and customer support is minimal to non-existent. This is the reason they are putting so many models on the market. This is their business strategy. They want people to change their phones as frequently as possible. Not to hold on for a phone for more than 1 year.

Anonymous, 27 Aug 2020The gimbal on the Vivo didn't really do anything other than take up a lot of space. i think it is brilliant and for photos not for videos. Night photos even without night mode need 2-3 secs exposure and is hard to keep your hand steady for that amount of time.
with that gimbal you can take very clear hand held night photos combined with a very good sensor, of course

As for me Miui is my favourite skin, I used to install custom rom like lineage, pixel experience, and many others, but none of them was good for me they were plain and so boring to the point where I can't support them for 1 week or even less

Xiaomi takes initiative on things, they're always the first with new tech, 120watt charging, 50 wireless... Graphene battery, 10bit 120hz old, 8P huge main censor design, widest ultrawide, 120x zoom, liquid metal cooling, and it goes way beyond this list,
and the thing is their Cameras are actually becoming good. Dxomark chart leader ( I don't like dxomark tho)
And their phones are really cheap, they became the number one in China and number 3 in Europe. So it's not weird that a company that size has fans.

I found out that worse than liking iphones, is disliking Xiaomi phones.
I think this Xiaomi fanboys are becoming worse than all the other fanboys combine.
At least Samsung, Apple, One Plus or Pixel (even Realme) phones have better software than this cr*p Xiaomi phones (full of bloatware and gimmick animations that drain your battery; no wonder they need 5000+mah batteries on their phones).
Paraphrasing a well known user from this site, I could say:
Xiaomi never again.
