.alpha, 28 Aug 2020Why? Chinese phones have under-display fingerprint reader for years but Apple rather save some... moreRight now under-display fingerprint is only work in the OLED screen and all these iPad use an LCD screen, and using this Oled iPhone will increase the price and reduce the profit margin.

So apple will wait till the price will go down for under-display fingerprint.

Smallworld, 27 Aug 2020Another thing that Sony started that is being adopted by other manufacturers. what are you talking about? Obviously Apple did it first because Apple is oh so innovative with their brand new side mounted fingerprint reader, nobody's ever done that before just like the notch, just like higher resolution displays, just like the headphone jack, just like literally everything because Apple is so innovative /s

Fandroids always come up with such rumors in order to discredit Apple if it eventually turns out to be false. Same as the 120Hz and small notch thingy.

think about the Iphone 11 series camera they copy from huawei and now everyone is thinking that other company are after them.

Perhaps we need to rethink what 'super thin bezels' really means and stop using it accordingly. 'Super thin' is just misleading, suggesting below 2mm
