Shanti Dope, 30 Aug 2020Uhmmm, really? Not sure about the 120Hz screen with 240Hz touch sampling rate, considering th... moreThe reason why Sony didnt have 120hz on the Xperia 1 II is that it has a 4K screen. If only manufacturers had a 4K 120 hz screen, Sony could've implemented that on the Xperia 1 II already. This has a FHD+ screen.
So the "space saving" has come from the ToF sensor & the wireless charging?
Sony and HTC is the only brand that listens to its Users
I think I have Found that device that cuts the Diamond and strikes the balance between use, power, Design and functionality
Honestly I really don't mind the Non plus SoC or the lack of 4k (FHD+Is more than sufficient is not as if Snapdragon Can push 120Hz @ 4K)
Am still in love with the Screen, No Notches or Cut outs actually means I get my contents the way they are
Sizable Bezzles means I can game and keep my fingers rested without accidentally triggering stuffs
4,000Mah? Well thanks to OLED screen @FHD+, Snapdragon SoC (Thank Heavens this is not Samsung Cux Battery of Exynos Powered Phones Don't do much in battery life compared to snapdragons) we all know that Sony's Battery optimisation is great.
Lastly cameras are always nothing to complain about.....sony always delivers in that area
Now the Issue is pricing Sony has to up its game here and snatch all the Competituon customer share to its self
CAN'T WAIT FOR THE REVIEW.......
i hope the hardware is not better than 1ii... as for the software, i hope 1ii gets it as an update... since I already decided to get the 1ii... but just in case, i will wait for the unveiling of this... though i can see the "mysterious" button clearly now...
So beautiful. I love that the screen isn't obstructed by anything at all. If it has notification LED it would be even better.
nice, they bring back the uniform bezels
that's what I like from Sony previous models, the balance
This phone is narrower than the formerly typical 16:9 5" screen phone!
AnonD-947580, 30 Aug 2020What's the point of this phone? Is it half price compared to the Xperia 1 ii?Here comes a Sony hater😂😂
Nice specs and camera, but waaaaay too tall, just like all recent Sony phones.
Not sure about the 120Hz screen with 240Hz touch sampling rate, considering this is supposed to be an inferior version to the 1 II, but well anything could happen.
Unless of course this would cost about the same as its bigger sibling does.
MKL, 30 Aug 2020Does it come with dual front firing speaker?Yes it does
AnonD-947580, 30 Aug 2020What's the point of this phone? Is it half price compared to the Xperia 1 ii?To be used by those that want smaller phone than xperia 1ii, also ppl that do not feel need to have 4K screen.
Same reason part of costumers chose Z5 over Z5 Premium and XZ1 over XZ Premium.
