Mediatek somehow like to make chipset with very little upgrade and call em NEW. Just look at helio G85 which very underwhelming upgrade compared to G70 and now this.

This is not a good move from Mediatek. If they are planning to refresh the G90T, they should change to a newer node like 7nm, even a 10nm will be good enough. 12nm is not up to the standard nowadays, 7nm is now the mainstream.

there isn't anything spectacular about this. If you already own a G90T based phone this upgrade is useless, there isn't enough changes or performance boost to justify a phone upgrade. Now if you are in the market for a new phone then sure you should take advantage of this new chip. Me personally when I am in need of a new phone. I would go for a 5G based chip instead of another 4G.

The Helio G95 boasts 5% CPU and 8% GPU performance gains over the older chipset therefore, this is undoubtedly a good upgrade.

I am writing from Istanbul Turkey. I am using a redmi note 8 pro. The Gt90 is a very good processor, I think enough. I think nobody believes Gt95 with marketing technique. I think it would be better if they could find a remedy for warming.

If you overclock G90T with 100 Mhz, suddenly... moreI think if it has improvement over the old chipset it is justifiable to give them another name to differentiate it. Otherwise they will always say it is G90T with overclock GPU. Wether that difference could be substantial we will never know unless we experience to use the two chipset for comparison
