Anonymous, 02 Sep 2020As Dimensity 800U is limited to 4k/30fps, IMX686 is useless... IMX682 is enough for 800U, 686... moreYeah, they didn't mention the imx682 either though on the Realme x7 so could also be the Samsung GW1

IMX682 is enough for 800U, 686 adds nothing with this chipset
IMX682 is the one on K30 Ultra and limits Redmi's phone to 4k/30fps even if D1000+ allows 60fps
(Nevertheless, globaly, I prefer K30 Ultra's cameras setup)
PocF1userHere, 01 Sep 2020Fail devices due to poor cameras. No development scope for Mediatek. Waiting for snapdragon version.Sony IMX686 as main sensor...it's a very good one.
The 32MP front one is a good choice too...
About the others, well, you're right
I prefer K30 Ultra's cameras.
Even if main IMX682 limits 4k videos to 30fps.
13MP ultra wide is a better choice
5MP x2 for macro start to be interessant.
About developement, have a look to Redmi Note 8 Pro's indian scene...awesome! Near 20 custom Rom, custom Kernel, recoveries
AnonD-937790, 01 Sep 2020From my point of view in India the Realme X7 pro may launch as Realme 7 pro.............. that's like saying the samsung note 20 will be the new s20.
it's a whole other segment.

From my point of view in India the Realme X7 pro may launch as Realme 7 pro..............
An almost-there attack on K30Ultra, but still comes up short. More than any other Realme products, X7Pro has had a most exceptional pre-launch success, creating the buzz and capturing the imagination of many buyers who have no prior awareness of Realme as a brand.
I am not seeing any other phone-makers to take on K30Ultra any time soon.
Good pricing for what the X7Pro brings to the table, but not aggressive enough to be truly competitive against K30Ultra. This reminds us that Realme is still some distance away from catching up with Redmi.
The arrival of V3 reminds us that a total market transition to 5G smartphones is almost there, final and total. It will be just a matter of months before all the remaining top tier phone-makers to take a hard exit from the 4G smartphone production which is no longer effectively supported by the smartphone supply-chain. Has anyone hear the death bell ringing for the 4G smartphones?
Anonymous, 01 Sep 2020Just price won't be 122, if you're in Europe...Sad, but that is the truth. It will not be launched in Europe if u ask me.
This is a good line up from realme. Getting that 50 million active users won't be hard.
Indian, 01 Sep 2020Realme and Xiaomi must release Dimensity Powered smartphones in others major markets also like... morePhones with dimesity chipset may come to india in 2021 as their is no 5g in india till now but it is always better to have access to advanced technology so europe india and rest asia may get dimesity powered phones maybe in 2021
