And I own one. An i7 4790 with a gtx 1070. 700watts yada yada yada. Said computer lives for 5-6 years, while a phone starts breaking down in 1 year
Why? Because of google and all the software
A phone from 2010 would very well fare today if it wasn't destroyed by it's software

Gaming desktops, even select laptops (like Alienware) are user-upgradable, and you can hold it on for longer because PC games do not get too suddenly specs-demanding (yes, there are such as Microsoft Flight Simulator), so it costs less in the long run.
Besides if you want portability, thin gaming laptops like the Lenovo Legion 7i and Razer Blade Stealth exists (despite most using lower-performance Nvidia Max-Q GPU).
Not like disposable gaming phones. The chip can be found on many other flagships, just comes with extra cooling. 3 years of use and it becomes obsolette. Goes into the dustbin because it's non-upgradable.
I have a friend running an old setup with i5-7200U and GTX 1060 (or 970) with decent SSD. (can't remember exactly).

These phones look more and more irrelevant with every new Android model. It looks impossible to pick the innovation with each new model released. Maybe a strategy to appeal to conservative technophobes who are afraid of change?

Nobody uses an iphone so much it heats up. Also unlike this bs2 iphones don't blow up, but throttle

The rog phone 3 is great yeah, but I'm repeating myself for the third time:top expensive, won't rival flagship cameras not one bit.
All I'm saying is gaming phones aren't meant to be your daily driver unless you're a kid and think other kids will love you for it. But as a 16+ years old it starts getting quite weird. Only if your friends are geeks will they appreciate it

New iPhones haven’t had the fcc notice physically on the device for years. The fcc notice is digital in the settings.

Idk why people thought I am an iShe*p. I still have the Samsung, but I have bought an iPhone some time ago. The Samsung's contract is yet to expire, so I'm considering a Poco F2 Pro.
I have had a friend using the 2018 Blackshark (with the clicky button). Tell you what, he was live streaming Hago while charging and the phone just suddenly shut down and won't restart.
I have came across people with gaming phones have issues. ROG Phone 2 just shuts down once it reaches 45 degrees celcius. Just check some forums.
Considering the slow development of mobile games, it's just not worth it to buy a gaming phone. Yeah, the graphics are better, but the choices aren't that many.
