Seriously now, is this supposed to be the phone of the future to him? As I have said, nubia isn't any better at this stuff, I'd say worse. Rog phone ain't no flagship killer. It kills you of hunger.
These phones have great cameras, but compared to huawei or samsung or apple or sony they are useless.
And since most people use a case (the shark is so cold due to it being metal you can't really hold it confortably) that cooling doesn't really work
Conclusion? They're not good. I had a few more points but forget it, enough has been said against them

As I mentioned before, even SD865+ in Galaxy Note 20 Ultra gets hot because of the lack of vapor chamber like iPhone. And throttles quickly, so their Antutu scores are similar (540k).
I wouldn't use a gaming phone as a daily driver.

This is definitely a fake phone. It is an iphone 11 Pro (or Max) with a squared bumper which is easily available on AliExpress.

I think it is fake.
12 and 12 Max do not have the 3rd camera. It will be like iphone 11.
Looks like only 12 Pro Max has ToF, but the external circle will be small, not like iPad (makes it look like the other cameras).

This year I will go with the Fold 2. Currently owning an ip11pro max which has no flaws in terms of operation, it has good battery life, but it is boring af. I know samsung is not on par when it comes to device quality or software optimization, but at least they are trying something different.

Considering that, it doesn't really make much sense for Apple to shave a bit off that hideous, antediluvian notch right now as Apple loves 2 milk billions off the same design year after year after year (the iMac's a classic example), until the competition finally forces them to tinker around a bit.
