The A7S is a low entry phone and not even remotely a flagship phone. I went with their BISON model instead. An Octa-core (MediaTek, Helio P60, 4xCortex-A73, 2.0GHz & 4xCortex-A53, 2.0GHz), 6Gb RAM, 128 Gb storage, waterproof, with a rugged armor shell built in.
What surprised me is a liquid cooling system for both their GPU & CPU and they run DDR4 memory. On average, I rarely go over 42°C. It's got a 5000 mAh battery and USB C v3.2 with 18w fast charging. It also has support for Dual SIM and supports 256Gb mSD. I got it from their store on the AliExpress site and I only paid $198 + $9 shipping CAD. It arrived in Canada from China in just 17 days.

I got my Umidigi A7s last week in December last year,it was working fine and all until three weeks ago when it started going blue blank for hours,sometimes I'd have to wait till the next day after series of powering off and on till it comes on okay.
It never fell down from my hand,it just suddenly started .I don't know if it's the display IC or something else that's wrong with it,and I can't return it because it has no warranty from the online store I bought it from.

If they added a full thermal imaging camera, even at 3x price, would still be value for insulation, electric, electronic engineers, DIYers, doctors nurses, and ofcourse nowadays general public.
