This is clearly linked to their recent misadventures near border. Every misstep apparently meets with such economic non-military measures... ..I can’t blame Indian government for this!
That's amazing !!!!! That's a great news banning trash apps like tiktok and pubg like a pro.
Indian government is lit.

Mobile version is partly owned by Tenecent, a Chinese company while the console version is not.
Fayth, 03 Sep 2020what if they use VPN?Yes you can.. along with other techniques.
Unless the entire world ban a specific country, or a specific country isolate themselves entirely like a intranet.
Any such ban is easily overcome. It only cause irritation and steps.. which stop casual players from playing.. but nothing will stop the determined.
PUbG is a great game to ruin your costly time and life easily. It is a addiction like alcohol and other drugs.🙏🇮🇳
Hanif Fikri, 03 Sep 2020I thought Pubg made by Korean?,Pubg Mobile by Chinese..

Some are sad that these apps are banned but this won't affect their voting preference and they'll flock to the alternatives. On the other hand, youngsters are pissed off by the National entrance exams and unemployments. That may influence their votes.

I am proud I never installed such shitty game on my phone... 🙌🏻
Nor any other clones of this one like Fortnite, Garena FreeFire, etc blah blah.. all useless crap and waste of time
Shui8, 03 Sep 2020I'm not indian or chinese, but those apps listed are useless & trash anyway lol.Yes, have to agree those apps are useless anyway.
I'm just against Chinese smartphone ban but TCL, Alcatel, and Infinix (or Meizu and nubia).

Banning Pubg is not even for privacy concerns, but because of the recent India-China conflicts. Pubg existed in India for years alr and they are only Banning it now because of ... privacy concerns? Banning tiktok and Pubg is jus alienating the youth in India. The government doesn't realise how wildly popular these apps are in India. And guess what, most of the people using Tiktok or Pubg rn are young adults or teenagers and they can already vote or do so in a few years, and I highly doubt they are going to vote for the current government.
YoshiAkash, 02 Sep 2020It's a game ffs. Are you promoting other countries to be like China? Every game is addi... moreThere are other games to play instead of childish PUBG Mobile. Yes, the graphics are good, but nowadays littered with 10-yr olds and hackers. There are still other games to play, open up your mind.
Nice move banning those apps.
Besides I've noticed many Chinese apps get away with installing malware or has suspicious behaviour.
You should see the TCL/Alcatel/Infinix preinstalled malware (that steals your money) debacle, I don't have the link but feel free to look it up in XDA or Android Authority.
If banning such apps are due to privacy issues, well then Facebook and Google are also doing that so it's a silly excuse. But the News Media Bargaining code will soon force FB and Google to take action so you don't have to mind those two platforms.
If they really care about user privacy they would've banned Chinesephonesmakers UI which have access to the everything in phone.
Nice.
