It's not really a big move by the Indian government when you consider what the Chinese government has done, for example, they banned Google, Play Store, WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram etc and more and not just apps but entire online services and platforms that are commonly used around the world, so they're very strict and concerned about their own security, while they just ban anything foreign that's perceived as a national threat, thus they can't complain if rest of the world does the same i.e banning their apps, other countries are just catching up by banning Chinese apps, while they did such things long time ago

China has done a lot of bad things too, India is not saint either, nor USA! Probably by tomorrow these comments will be deleted.
