MrLong, 03 Sep 2020It's paid, unfortunately. Also sad news hearing Huawei may exit the smartphone segment... moreBuddy, no need to feel sorry for Huawei, & I don't think we'll get rid of them so easily. That company is state-backed & a party favourite. They will use all their might..How do you think they've 'gotten' so many technologies that other companies take years to 'develop'..

It seems some of you all don't understand that this is big for Huawei because they can't run the Google Play Store on newer devices which means they can't get free apps like Google maps. Yes other GPS apps are available in the Huawei App Gallery but are they up to par with Tom Tom?

MrLong, 03 Sep 2020It's paid, unfortunately. Also sad news hearing Huawei may exit the smartphone segment... moreIf you consider Huawei's other product historically, they are not good from security point of view . What make Huawei big is not smartphone, but telecommunications (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G tower). That's actually what makes Huawei banned, the phone is just another bonus.
