Anonymous, 05 Sep 2020No because the 460 finally has big A7x cores and everything without them should be considered ... more460 and 662 both of them have A73 and A53 cores in their cluster (not respectively, both chipsets have A73 and A53, only minor clock speed difference)

AnonD-896879, 05 Sep 2020Exynos 9610 is worse, much worse than sd 460 and 662Efficiency is good, because both 10nm and 11nm nodes of those processors are made by samsung.

Difference lies in GPU & CPU
Which 460 and 662 are slightly ahead.

Joe Granton, 05 Sep 2020Yes, noticed that but when you look at the G90T for power efficiency Realme 6 etc or Realme 6i... moreWhy because, software also plays a role in it!
Different software has optimisations for different processors, and one will use more resources, if not suited to that particular processor.

Andreidinutu, 05 Sep 2020Very old? Then what is the 14nm one, ancient? Man it's 2 years old. Computer cpu's b... moreSee, computer power consumption is different, and phone consumption is also different.

                In PC's
Most of them solely consider more performance, over power efficiency
Even the most powerful Intel PC processors is at 10nm, as of 2020.

                In phones,tablets and laptops,
Many are focusing on better battery life and best performance altogether, and that's why companies are trying hard to create processors which suit them.

And ya, AMD has moved to 7nm in 2019, starting from desktop processors, and so is intel "gradually" moving to 10nm.

Plus, fabrications by different companies have different power consumption values.

I don't understand why would they use Snapdragon 460 in a phone that they are releasing in 2020 especially when there are so many better options.

OnePlus started as a distinctive flagship killer brand. Then they turned into a flagship brand. And now they've become just like Oppo/Vivo/Realme with different software.

They've lost their strategy & identity, and have become a generic phone pumping brand. Not a good move.
