We are talking about total sales
Samsung has more models than sales
They don't have to be in the top 10 selling phones to be the most sold brand

SamsungRules, 07 Sep 2020Relax Huawei fanboys. Samsung fell because of coronavirus. Now things are getting back to norm... moreSomeone with common sense, Huawei took 1st place in the the 1st 3 months because the chinese market recovered. Samsung sells mostly in europe which was worse affected.

Huawei had the ban to battle, Samsung had corona.

Huawei also does majority of its sales in China where the whole population are fanboys LOL

But yeah no one could topple Samsung for the last 7 years why would this be any different.

Now these Huawei fanboys can keep crying about the ban. Funny how Samsung being Number 1 OEM hasnt made America go after South Korea. Or America go after Xiaomi.

Keep crying those salty tears ;)

What?!!?!? :D Sounds like you have no idea how far GMS reach in OS and apps. And why would Apple users want huawei very cripled Android experience? If we would buy Android we would buy full experience just like everyone else.

Don’t know where you guys get the stats but this is not accurate for 2020 1st half 1st place is iphone 11 with 37.7 milion, 2nd is Samsung Galaxy A51 with 11.4 milion 3rd is Xiaomi Redmi note 8 with 11 milion, 4th place Redmi Note 8 Pro with 10.2 milion 5th Iphone SE 2020 with 8.7 Milion 6th Iphone XR with 8 Milion 7th Iphone 11 pro max with 7.7 milion 8th Redmi 8A with 7.3 milion 9th Redmi 8 with 6.8 Milion and 10th Iphone 11 pro with 6.7 milion. So definitely Samsung is not number 1 for 2020

I wonder how our life is been rotating around google.
Huawei still have a hope if the lame apple fanboys adopt a huawei mobile for a change because even IOS is not having GMS so they can survive with huawei.
On the otherhand, samsung made the brand stand tall with the latest Note 20 ultra(snapdragon) the phone that ticks all the marks also for super premium users, they have Fold2 where apple is lagging 3 to 4 years behind. I cant see huawei mobile have a future outside china unless they do something unbelievable with the harmony OS

Fixargeddon13, 07 Sep 2020Yeah, if there was no Huawei ban, Samsung would be third, and we could get new smartphones, at... moreYou can't blame HMD for what happened to Nokia because after being free from Microsoft they chose to be a patent licensor which is certainly less risky than producing their own phones.
But it makes Nokia brand difficult to compete with other brands because besides HMD have to cover production costs, advertising they also have to pay royalty to Nokia plus they have to pay their employees to provide regular updates for 3 years that's why Nokia phones have lower specifications and features than other phones at comparable prices.

So you should blame Nokia itself for what happened to their mobile division because they are too lazy and just want to earn easy money.

Yeah, if there was no Huawei ban, Samsung would be third, and we could get new smartphones, at least 15% cheaper... Huawei, Xiaomi, Sony and HTC should rise again, and maybe Nokia, but they are owned by money hungry HMD, who sh@ts over everything Nokia was, and should be.
