pixel user, 08 Sep 2020Poco M2 Review: (copy paste all Redmi 9 review)And now equipped with more mediatek manure. Yay! 😄
They could have used atleast SD 662. Now, I don't want it even if it is free.
Simple answer if you don't want a phone with ads, don't buy any Chinese brand really, it's not rocket science, I live in the UK, and I've never seen a phone that comes with ads, if I did, I'd throw it out the window, or give it to a begger, and buy a different phone, but if your poor, and can't afford much, a phone with theses specs, for that price, I'd be OK with having to see the odd ad for that.
Anonymous, 08 Sep 2020Excuse me for the ignorance, but could you please tell me where to look for these ads. I'... moreThis site is full of people from India and China that get the massive ads from pretty much every brand they have in there but for some reason they hate Xiaomi the most cause of the ads they get in there region. Global version of Xiaomi phones dont seem to have any ads. Well i have a bit over 2 years Xiaomi phone and i have not seen the ads too, well not more then i had on windows phone or i had from my celan android nexus 7 2013 model tablet that went up to droid 6. I have had other android phones too that dont seem to have more or less ads. Alll downloaded apps have more ads then from out of the box xiaomi phone i have. So it's interesting to know the ads problem too. I actually have not even seen videos about the annoying ads everyone talking about. They time to time mention it in reviews but dont show it
Anonymous, 08 Sep 2020Why some dumb people still keep on commenting everywhere that poco's phones are ad-free ?... moreExcuse me for the ignorance, but could you please tell me where to look for these ads. I'm using xiaomi.eu for 5 years and have never seen them. I don't see any ads in chrome either. Where are all the ads? :(
Anonymous 2, 08 Sep 2020It's just a rebaged Redmi 9But w/ 6gb of ram
Why some dumb people still keep on commenting everywhere that poco's phones are ad-free ?? Coz they are not. They show ads just like any other xiaomi phone.
So it's the same phone under 3 different names? Released one after another, to keep the hype up..
For how long will they use this rebranded strategy? It's become boring to see "new" phone every day.
What's the use of it? It's just a renamed Redmi 9 even is the price is exactly same usually sub brand offer better price-performance but not this so why bother?
I like it more than Redmi9 just for the color Red, though it looks more of orange. And circular design around rear camera looks better. Ad-free Miui sure is great but only Miui11 is a let down, the Redmi9 is already in Miui12. Hoping it would make it in the Global market with 6GB Ram and 128GB variant, because they always minimize the ram and rom for global market. Here in the Philippines we only have 3-32 and 4-64 of Redmi9, Poco should bring it here in 6-128 version.
