S10 5G actually the first 5G phone in the world that’s why used to be expensive and the only phone from Samsung that ToF camera in front and back including base storage is 256gb, so you can’t compare it to S10 plus.

Samsung never intends to sell their phones at launch price for a long time
they always do these prices cut
it draws peoples' attention to their phones
You can say it's a failure because you don't analyse
With this price cut, trust me sooooooo many Samsung fans are upgrading to it or thinking of upgrading plus other smartphone users who want to try out a Samsung phone

      no offence bro

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2020Unfortunately not yet. I bought S10 5G brand new 11 month ago for $1150 now the phone new $370!.In our place the new S10 + goes from $700-$750 new and around $500 for one year used carried unlocked. S10 for $1150 itself a bad buy. No mobile worth more than $1000 be it Android or iPhone. That's the thumb rule.

So the US gets the better snapdragon version and now it's cheaper too? I hope the worldwide exynos version price gets slashed. I had one for a week and returned it as thr exynos was rather poor. Gets hot and high battery drain.

Samsung figures itsel a 'premium' manufacturer. However, even if you buy one of their 1000+ USD/Eur/UKP 'flagship' barges full of bloat, they figure 2 Droid updates is quite sufficient, and regular security updates 3 years max, 3.5 irregular. And to add insult to injury, you're datamined to death and your analytics sold to well... *any* bidder.
I have a Note 9, 1 or 2 before that, and they've lost me as a customer completely.

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2020Android doesn’t has resale value cause android OEM’s releasing new phone every 6 month. This is changing now on flagship mobiles . I could make better bargains with my 6GB 128 GB Mate 20 Pro, Galaxy Note 9 etc.... people see value in it. After nearly 3 years I could sell off Honor 10 for almost 1/3 which was bought at better bargains. Things have changed in it Android recently.

They will continue to push this policy as a way of maximizing profits - they know that some suckers and early birds will buy their phones on release. So this will never stop unless people stop buying on release or preordering, which will ofc also never stop.

I had both of them in my hand, the ultra model is nice but to expensive for the phone that you have to keep with you all day long everywhere, made be stolen or lost easy.
