maybe it is a tablet... i hope it will be released also
htc innovates and creates cool gadgets!
The reduced vertical resolution means that the software buttons are taking up space when the device is held in portrait mode, leading me to believe that this is a 7" tablet.
No matter how good HTC's hardware might be, their cameras are always going to be terrible. Like the One X. Excellent phone, let down by poor imaging.
HoRRo, 13 Jul 2012"1794×1080, which means it'll rock a 1080p display" How does that make any ... moreIt´s because of the software buttons, the space they take don´t count in the total resolution since Ice Cream Sandwich (for phones and tablets with no physical buttons). The real resolution is 1920x1080.
Sausage, 13 Jul 2012Read further. There stands "with a bit room to spare for some onboard software buttons... moreI'm sorry, I can't seem to find how your comment correlates to mine or how the information supplied at this time can be accurately interpreted to mean this new device will come with a large, removable battery. HTC haven't got it right for a number of years, and that's a shame.

How does that make any ... morefor 16:9 screen
similarly it may be any ratio like 16:10 or 5:4 or any ratio screen.....the important thing to become 1080p screen it shud hav vertical 1080 pixels......for 720p considering as 720 or 768 pixels of vertical...
compare older crt tv with newer lcd they are of the ratio of 4:3 and 16:9....
the main thing is vertical pixels.......not horizontal
Phone? what phone? It's obviously a tablet. HTC can't make high end phone, and definitely not with 1080p display.
HoRRo, 13 Jul 2012"1794×1080, which means it'll rock a 1080p display" How does that make any ... moreThis means that the screen is about 4,5 inch and on screen buttons have to steal more than 100 pixels.
htc is at it again, thats why they deserve to loose money, they announce phones and people buy it thinking it is a flagship that will last for the year and then they do this shit. Really thats why the galaxy s series has a fan following because they launch one kick ass phone and stick to it.... really dissapointed
Holy schmuck that is some hardcore specs HTC is assembling.
But they better not forget to cram big a$$ battery on that thing cause that's a deal breaker at least for me
AnonD-41401, 13 Jul 2012Another flop. Needs windows Phone OS otherwise just fail
like the One XI like the way Windows Phone/Nokia fanboys make me laugh everyday. HTC One X a fail? lolol.
Keep it coming, I enjoy reading such comments after a stressful day of work. :)
