Just a w... moreThe Z Fold 2 is actually an engineering masterpiece. If it had Apple's latest (5nm) processor, it could easily replace a lot of mid range production laptops for decent photo and video edits.
It's a good sized phone and tablet in one. With a plethora of great cameras, excellent productivity tools and good software optimization. As a matter of fact most of the software hiccups can be attributed to Google not getting their folding tablet interface right.
I can see Apple doing a version of this in 2-3 years. And pricing it at another $1000-1500 more.
Is the Z Fold expensive? Yes. But it's the sple device of it's kind and competence in the market. Samsung is milking its first movers advantage. And it jas every right too. Foldable devices may get cheaper, in the future. But right now, all companies from Snapdragon to Sony Image Sensors seem to be charging a huge premium over the last 1-2 years. That is one of the main reasons for the inflating prices. Plus the longer software update cycles, and after sales. Something cheaper and more flimsy OEMs don't really bother about.

Again, this is not meant to be a power specs phone, there are plenty of those available and cheaper. go look elsewhere.
i´d buy this one if I had the chance to do it, looks amazing.
This RAZR makes as much sense as it did the star TAC in 1996 when it was launched
