Again samsung has a device superior in every way.
And they are the ones that have been putting the time and money into the tech for years more than moto or anyone else.
Clearly there are limits to what they can put in that form. But there should also be limits to what they charged for it too. They just wanted to fill their pockets. The dang thing couldn't even properly support anything but verizon
Poor hardware for a top-end price. All for folding display. Another expensive toy. Thanks, I'll skip. I'd rather buy 3 last-gen flagships with better hardware than a single toy. But that's just me.

How is it that hard to grasp that dozens of engineers have had to brainstorm, trial, and test possibly tons of designs before finding one that would be commercially viable and work with all the other tech in the phone? Once you know how engineers and designers work, the asking price is a no brainer and completely warranted.
cozxta, 09 Sep 2020The hinge is shit compared to the complex one found inside Z Flip and Z Fold2, it's just ... moreCould be
Wayy too expensive. Until people wake up and stop paying these ridiculous prices, this will unfortunately continue.
another failed subpar device at high price, just like the dead microsoft duo phone.
this one is destined to drop / fail / flop.
Syn, 10 Sep 2020This phone is not for people who look at specs. It's for people who wants a fashion state... moreNo it is not a fashion statement or what
More like a Nostalgic Effect Tech
Z flip is more likely a fashion Tech especially the Thom Browne Edition of Z Flip
Crackling Doom, 10 Sep 2020Imagine paying $1,400 for a Snapdragon 765G phone. This phone is not for people who look at specs. It's for people who wants a fashion statement and basically flex. Razr has a cult following among a lot of people.
Crackling Doom, 10 Sep 2020Imagine paying $1,400 for a Snapdragon 765G phone. Imagine thinking this is the usual candybar phone like the rest...
Crackling Doom, 10 Sep 2020Imagine paying $1,400 for a Snapdragon 765G phone. U r right
The same thing I thought about
Price and tech apart....this shit is officially chinnese....as matter of principal...will stay away from this..
Anonymous, 10 Sep 2020Of course. Samsung makes the screen, the storage, the memory ram, the camera and other pie... moreLenovo already bought those components from Chinese .

It's about market price for similar device . If you can't keep it competitive then you should get out . So you can't keep manufacturer cost down is consumer fault?
Who's gonna buy this over the much superior Galaxy Z flip with Snapdragon 865 processor at almost the same price?
Crackling Doom, 10 Sep 2020Imagine paying $1,400 for a Snapdragon 765G phone. lmfao exactly
Shady69, 10 Sep 2020doesn't justify the price tag.You do not know how much money they needed to make this phone.
What if it has high costs?
Nobody knows ...
Whackcar, 09 Sep 2020Just saw Lew's video about it. Looks really high quality. They seem to have paid attentio... moredoesn't justify the price tag.
cozxta, 10 Sep 2020It's almost the same price that Samsung charges for a superior device, with superior engi... moreOf course.
Samsung makes the screen, the storage, the memory ram, the camera and other pieces.
In-house stuff is always cheaper than buying from someone else.
Unless Motorola starts to source 90% of the phone from chinese companies like chinese brands do, no way they can lower the price.
Flex screen is way more expensive than regular ones.
Also too much money spent on tests and R&D till final device is ready
