Djnady99, 15 Sep 2020just a matter of days, people will forget and get use to it remember orkut ? before fb was in... moreEvery country has similar laws whereby they can request information from any company and a company has to oblige or it will face some consequences.
What do you think the so called entity list is in the US? The US has ordered companies to stop doing business with Huawei and other Chinese and non-Chinese companies where companies will lose billions and the companies have obliged and do you think they won't handle over your data that easily if they are asked to do so and they won't even lose money if do so unlike now where they are losing money by not doing business with companies on the so called entity list?
Of course they will try to lie to you that they don't do that but I can assure you they do it but they do it without you even knowing about it.
So stop the hypocrisy that the western governments are saints and the Chinese government is evil.
To me all of them are evil and non of them should claim a high moral ground.

Anonymous, 14 Sep 2020Let's see what american citizens think of the ban of one of the most popular apps in thei... morejust a matter of days, people will forget and get use to it
remember orkut ? before fb was introduce... it was widely used.
now though, instagram has came up with reels...... it would overcome the the absence of tiktok sooner or later.

now, i am not from USA.... am indian.
i also understand, almost very much of the time USA may misuse it's power for keeping themselves upon the top of everything and everyone.
but handing over users data in hands of USA is more reliable then handing it over to China just and just for 2 reason only.

    1) china's new law in regards to cybersecruity.... its quite dangerous and very evil move made by china.
because it clearly says that if china government/ccp ask any of the company to give away users data to them then company has to do that or else there would be legal consequences.
not just that, a person saying anything wrong about china from any part of the world... then he or she would not be able to vist over their because if they did then ccp/government/authorities will arrest u and lock you up behind the bars.

    2) china the way it plays with their dirty tactics..... even thats not good too.
china dont have youtube, facebook, etc etc these all platforms are banned and china has made exact duplicate of these platforms + their world wide famous firewall... (like they dont want any1 to know what's going on in their country) + as their is no freedom of speech in china.... people cant stand for their rights because if they do then cpp will put them behind the bars + many more shady moves by the government 1st for their own country , own ppl... doesnt lemme think users data in their hands would be completely safe.

    #note :-
1 way or other, if u r using internet and i believe u do use it for any xyz purpose... ur details which may include personal data will be with some company for sure and you dont know what they do with that data.... lke for eample, microsoft & apple laptops/destops(95% of the people have 1 for sure).... collects data..... mobile goes with google for andriod and apple + the mobile brands (lke samsung) too have your data.
so in 1 way or other, companies have your data and you cant deny it nor save ur data.
but having your data in someone's hand whose moves are so shady is too very risky. (in my opinion

Anonymous, 14 Sep 2020That tiktok shit using "cutting edge technologies", ya off course here in India just... moreIt has one of the best pattern recognition alogrithm (Information Flow Funnel) out there hence why people keep using it because it finds content that users want to see. I don't see any Indian software competing with that anytime soon.

Anyways, enjoy your Indian Tiktok clone or whatever you have now.
