You may also treat your screen right, on the other hand no need to care (bother) about displaying same icons brightness etc. on LCD. I'm just saying it may happen, not trying to fight this battle.

I u... moreYellowing is not an issue of an LCD technology but a manufacturing defect or the nature of their preferred calibration of the display on the manufacturing side which can manifest on specific batches of displays especially on the budget side. AMOLED burn-in happens for ignorant people that doesn't know how to take care of their display. On the other hand, color tinting happens for people that babied their displays that can manifest for 1 to 2 years of usage and all the panels are affected by this no matter which pricepoint their panels are. I'd say that no smartphone AMOLED panels can sustain their calibrated colors for the span of a year or two of regular use because they're simply organic.

I use a50 as main phone and realme 6 pro as backup (most of time just stay at home). But realme 6 pro display turn yellowish faster than my a50 has burn in although both been used at same period
"Why so quiet?"
Sorry mate I don't spend my days arguing on a mobile phone news site. Just here looking for my next phone i.e. a flagship chip with an IPS display. Cheers and lots of love buddy.

You have made a discussion about there being evidence of a specific hardware issue related to oled
And created Ann unrelated discussion about general hardware issues and even though you generalized the
topic you made a specific conclusion on oled displays
Only having fault for cheap quality oled phones

These are issues plaguing few devices, they aren't a representation of most units of that particular smartphone.
Besides, Lcd has its own set of issues that arise with time.
Overall conclusion is that cheap Oled displays will give issues over a period of time and cheap Lcd displays will gives issues over a period of time as well.
MrMing, 15 Sep 2020LCD panels tend to have slower pixel response rates (not touch rates) compared to OLED panels.Xiaomi isn't using cheap Lcd panels like iPhone with slowest pixel response times.

The benefits of LCD are many and I would strongly prefer it in my next device. But not with a punch hole :/
At least this is the least offensive type of punch hole, put in the upper left corner which will be in the lower left corner when watching video :-)
These are the combination of specs that will not cause any disadvantage, if you have them, u will be fine with it for years and won't need change.
1. Large Graphene battery
2. Strong Chipset (Apple A13 or A14 Bionic or other android alternatives like SD865, android chip must be 5nm or better)
3.Mini LED or MicroLED
4. Good charging speed
5. Ips rating (preferably)
6. A durable body(best stainless steel)
Of course after sales service.

We all know the lcds are cheaper to manufacture. That's the whole reason behind it, not because lcd don't have burn in or other stuff.
