I don't see much use for this. The dual screen accessory of LG before was better although both screens having teardrop notch sucks.
It's fancy looking for sure, and something different, though different doesn't always mean better, but still, we gotta appreciate LG's effort
Reminds me the LG U900
When you need to get rid of those extra screens piling up in godowns due to low demand.

And that price even though it's a nice innovation
Absolutely not worth it
Say what you want but this phone is DOPE..!

Where?
In Peter Pans Neverland?
Mind you I dont think this will live up as a trend, but I give LG commends for bravery, offering actual feature phones, tho they missed the point with audio here...
But "high demand for foldables" ... is just not true.
Its just wishful thinking.
Next:make a phone with the same main display, pop up camera, big battery, main, zoom, ultra wide camera modules, 3.5mm jack if possible and you have one of the most beautiful phones on the market.
Bias youtubers (sponsoredmones) will bash.
But praise when same product comes from Samsung or any chinese.
sadh, 14 Sep 2020Interesting to see LG is back to experiment. Boring G and V series are long gone. Here to co... moreAgree with you on g & v lineup. Once notch came to the picture LG lost its track in design. But valvet doesn't feel like something new. Just few fancy changes in design

People will move to foldable not when the technology gets mature enough, but when the price goes down to midrange level. I don't care how high tech a phone is, I'm not paying more than 1k for a phone..
Excellent execution LG! But one thing, please make a version with a stylus so us creatives can select tools, brushes etc on the secondary display freeing up the main screen as an uncluttered canvas.
LG WING Note?

If this phone had an 865 it'd be perfect, honestly I'd get it if it had that and I didn't already have a good phone. The display looks great and the swivel is a neat concept
Great idea, LG!!!
nik.007, 14 Sep 2020Man this design is seriously gooooood!
After that MKBHD tweet, even I had made up my mind to ... moreI respectfully disagree. Foldables are the future. Most of us will be using foldables in a few years when the technology is mature enough. They actually serve a purpose. You get the portability of a phone, and the screen state of a tablet. It's the ideal form-factor. The only problem right now is durability, which will get better over a few generations.
This swivel design looks fancy and all, but what purpose does it serve? You have a phone that improves multi-tasking, but doesn't offer the tablet experience for multimedia consumption. The foldables offer both features. That's why there's a huge demand for them.
