I switched to OP8 Pro from iPhone 11 pro Max. Never looking back again.
Got it for half the price of the iPhone. Infact, I Only had to pay roughly 10% of the amount as resell value for iPhone was good. It's just ahead in every department. Felt like a proper upgrade which didn't break the bank.

Anybody who has used Android and iOS both will be like "Meh" in response to iOS 14.
I agree, that A14 chip will be handicapped as usual by iOS.
It's like putting a fast engine inside a car without a top gear to extract the full performance out of that engine.

No idea about single core...since they didn't unveil single core performance improvements

It's a easy guess....this time Snapdragon 875 will match the apple a14 in cpu performance but not in GPU anyway.... clearly apple favoured power efficiency over performance since it has to match the smaller iphone 12 battery which is just 2200mah...also it will have less space for thermal management.... Thats the real reason I think....main culprits for less improvement in performance are the smaller batteries...

I admet that A12,A13 take the lead on GPU performance but still you should think why .
Firstly qualcomm never had three Gen of the same GPU arch on 600 series.
so from adreno 620 to 640 there aren't much changes compare to A11 to A12 or A13(since both A12-A13 sport new GPU arch)
So if SD875 won't change the GPU arch again , then A14 will keep the lead.

And for 3dmark anandtech noted how the sd devices got unusually hotter, not all android phones in general. It does make sense when in the other two benchmarks they score a lot lower. Now you can always check other sources for the same benchmarks if you really think my source is biased.
