Tell us why isn't there any article about Apple having to pay 500 miliion for batterygate issue?
Gaming phones score higher since they have dedicated cooling and performance mode is available for the end user.

New chip, A14, is boasting 11.8 billion transistors, a 38,82% increase over the A13’s 8.5bn figures.

Why does Apple have to be so stingy with the battery capacity? It's not like their devices are cheap

Here's the gfxbench and basemark results of iphone 11 and rog phone 3. Anandtech suspects there's some low level cheating going on with 3dmark and sd chipsets, on newer reviews they dont include 3dmark. Dont know about antutu.

The Kirin is not even mentioned in their rivalry. So, Exynos is the checkmate & Kirin is still the pawn, according to the 2020 Antutu's Top 10 SoCs list:

Also, that kinda doesn't apply to Apple because of their unique, almost console like hardware and software combination where software is specifically tailored for their devices. Where Android is a multipurpose OS just like Windows. There is just no way Android will ever as optimized as iOS because vendors will never go that far out of their way to optimize it specifically for whatever they are doing.

Not quite sure why anyone would want to use Antutu score as a measure of performance, but you can see figures from benchmarks specialised for measuring GPU performance (e.g. GFXBench, Basemark) and you'll see what I mean.

Anonymous, 15 Sep 2020If you install iOS on any other phone, SD865 would score over 850.000 on antutu. Or 100000 because there's no way that anyone could optimise iOS for SD SoC as much as they could do it for A-series SoC. Raw horsepower is of course superiour on Apple's chipset, but also their vertical integration is a key to maximise its performance.

They will again lose to 5nm SD875.A-series chip has never lost a lead in GPU performance over high end Snapdragon counterparts in a last couple of years, just saying. SD875 will be probably faster than thermally throttled A14 but obviously won't surpass it when comparing peak performance figures.

The geekbench score is 4612 for the apple iPhone 12.

Apple is probably comparing it with the a13.

Even those people that think geekbench is unreliable, it's definitely consistent with apple products/

If Apple can at least provide their iPhones with improved thermals, it can easily wipe most Androids but gaming phones on the floor.

Like a game of chess: Apple is the king. Huawei is checkmate as their Kirin chips are very good, but discontinued due to restrictions. Samsung Exynos is pawn as their chips have poor efficiency (AMD partnership is delayed until 2022).

Apple doesn't innovate much, but still provides the best quality products.

Proud to be in a premium ecosystem. 🍎
