Still, 120Hz is high enough for majority of things that people would ever need in a smartphone.

Compact. No notch. Even bezels. Nice display with HDR and high refresh rate. Flagship chipset. 3.5mm jack. Nice camera bundle with ultrawide and OIS. Decent battery with quick charge. Stereo speakers.
This is my dream phone. Period.

As a fan of their phones, I've been hoping they'd de... moreIndeed, this is the best phone they made so far, with the classy, beautiful and timeless Sony design, the 1 II was a bit too big and this gets almost everything right but at $900 it is steep, IMO it's worth it and much better than iPhones which are pricey for no significant reason. If I'm spending a thousand on a phone, it'll be undoubtedly a Sony Xperia

Anonymous, 17 Sep 2020Design should have been same of 1ii. Not copy of 10ii ... 1ii looks way better. Totally agree that the 1 design looks better. I prefer the boxy sharp edge design. Also the fingerprint scanner should be embedded with power button and no one asked for the extra button. These are jist nit picks but all in all it's a great spec phone. I'll wait for the rumored 5.8" 21:9 phone from sony and hopefully no compromises.

This one will be 950 dollars in USA. Probably with pre-order gift.
Almost 25% cheaper than 1ii ....

sound and looks good. yet waiting for reviews of the photo cameras prowess and user opinions on no-tof camera feature.
app. 900 price? this means less than 800 w/o vat, most likely with a headset as a "gift". for 3-4 years normal use goes to some 200eur/year... not bad at all. most likely its going to be the pre-christmas gift :)
