Google is not that essential in some Asian countries Google is no longer the determinant anymore as am now using the new Huawei Y9a and using Viber , WhatsApp Facebook and many other apps and my contacts are intact on this new phone that carries a superb camera, bing is there to handle all I need to do on Google search, Bolt is there to take on the assignment of Uber while Huawei now has a good map use on their phones. So with all this in place I bet you in the next 1 year slot of the world population will forget about Google and it's data stealing and spying apps.

In the long term (2-3 years from now, even faster probably) these technological US-China bans will go in favor of China. China will start produce this semiconductor stuff herself, and provide to all the World except US, and US is 300 mil ppl where total World is 7 800 mil ppl. ( 7.8 billion ). That is 26 times more. Also even with ban and no sales in US US citizens still buy Huawei stuff, so it is not 300 mil off the total World popul.
Guess who will end in the end? Yes it is not the US
US tech companies like apple, google provide mobile phones much worse than Huawei. Also they DO NOT provide crucially cellular equipment at all! US companies that DOES make cellular equipment are times smaller in volumes and R&D level of their products. Huawei dominanse is not only in the smartphones. It is bigger in cellular equipment! And it was (and will) be bigger in laptops and other nice stuff too.

Whoever is in the presidents position is only a puppet to those pulling the strings behind.

Anonymous, 17 Sep 2020You think something will chance with next president? guess again. This started way before Trump.No it didn't because Trump went from level 6 to level 11 in the China-US trade-war. ZTE was 50 times smaller than Huawei at the time ZTE was banned in similar ways.
After he leaves White House next guy will remove the Huawei ban trust my words. All the World suffer from it. That's billions of dollars not paied from Huawei to American companies for those chips,patents,tecnhology,GMS,and a lot other!

The quality of the camera is so good..... Nothing even comes close!!!!!! So I will stick with them through their darkest hours and support them. It's the least we true Huawei fans can do!!! 😜

We no... moreI have tried multiple brands and only Huawei stands out as most user-friendly and have superior camera quality over the rest... Not to mention they are the ONLY ONE who can make their own chips! Now that may go away but now they have another thing going for them, the only Android phone left in the western markets with no Google it may be hard at first but I am confident that the end users will A install GMS themselves or B app support will improve over time. :)

Just Die already we jave enough crappy chinese brands around pretwnding they are luxury. We no need premium Chinese brand which sells their crap for Samsung or Apple prices, glad they only have 8.8. I rather support Realme, Xiaomi or Vivo, which sells top hardware for acceptable prices, which is how its suppose to be.

If it was really theft, Nortel will still have the original blueprint for 5G but we don't see the US coming out with a 5G System.

But Apple told us the low supply of 5nm is because YOUR home country probably doesn't support millimetre wave 5G. That is what we believe. This is obviously a lie.
