BB, 17 Sep 2020599 would be a more reasonable price... what are you doing Xiaomi?! Agreed. Overnight they are trying to charge insane prices. Totally unrealistic. Quality are there yet. Plus why they aiming at a market that prefers better value?! No chance with this overpriced cack.

Samsung internet, anyone? no thanks, after 3 years on a Samsung phone I hate their eco system and look forward to move away from it.
Anonymous, 17 Sep 2020Why people call OLED a superior technology nowadays, when it has worse sun viewability, burns ... moreWhat are you babbling about? I had an oled phone for 3 years now (s7) and I have no burn in whatsoever.
With all the dark themes, oled is way more energy efficient than LCD.
still waiting for a 5.5" - 6"phone with similar specs but oled and pop-up cam
599 would be a more reasonable price... what are you doing Xiaomi?!

MKA RASEL, 17 Sep 2020Who will buy it? Apple iPhone 12 might be 700 USD. WHERE'S Mi 10T is 800 usd😃Who's gonna buy an iphone 12 with that tiny battery?
Anonymous, 17 Sep 2020Why people call OLED a superior technology nowadays, when it has worse sun viewability, burns ... moreI personally never had burn in but I also took extra care not to encounter that. IPS LCD is from my experience not well suited for high refresh rates because of motion blur and ghosting. There is also the issue of IPS glow which is more annoying to me than flickering from OLED at low brightness.
I would say at 60Hz IPS LCDs are an ok alternative but we need advancements in display technology for sure. As soon as you go up in refresh rate OLED shows it's issues.
Why people call OLED a superior technology nowadays, when it has worse sun viewability, burns in, makes eyes bleed and gives weird colours, especially with DC dimming? boo hoo, but the blacks are deep! Photographers always use them. Monitors still are LCD. We've used them for 70 years without any issues while at the moment some Samsung AMOLED marketing fanboys tell us that AMOLED is better 😂
IDK why people has frowned upon IPS LCDs but for me this is the best display. My current phone can easily do 14 hours SoT. Imagine having an OLED phone doing that every weekdays, it would just take a month or two to burn in that splitscreen slider or the bottom panel would just burn in my SMS, Slack, or Messenger as they're mostly static.
IDK about you people but I like my phone to last atleast 3 years on that kind of usage without any kind of burn-in or even color tinting. Maybe these brainwashed people are rich and dumb at the same time.
Anders, 17 Sep 2020Waaaayyy too expensive. That's the same price the S20 Fan Edition is going to launch at a... moreIP rating is way overrated, it add cost and actually doesn't add anything except causing a cognitive biased making peoples to think their phone is waterproof (while it is water resistant) and cause many IP67/68 rated phones to die on water because of user behavior, despite no brand covering water damages, which make it literally having no pros (as it doesn't guarantee anything) but being a source of issues.
A phone can be made properly water resistant without requiring this expensive ratting that isn't adapted to smartphones, phones like the OnePlus 7(t) Pro proved it.
Uselessly butchered display with a hole on it for a tiny and poor quality camera status bar annoyance peasant < Majestic uninterrupted fullscreen display and privacy friendly excellent quality camera in futuristic and awesome pop up master race.
€699 for no software updates. Great deal 🤪.
Ridiculous pricing for a phone with an LCD panel. Some LCD screens can be of high quality and I'm sure it will be but high refresh rate on LCD is pointless really. I'm using a vivo iqoo Z1 with a 144hz refresh rate and it's a waste of time. Plus you can't have an in display fingerprint scanner also. The Pocophone F2 pro is half the price and it has a better overall package.
Who will buy it? Apple iPhone 12 might be 700 USD. WHERE'S Mi 10T is 800 usd😃
I'll take it since you can't really find a phone like this nowadays. Xiaomi know how rare it is and that they can confidently jack up the price. It's acceptable I guess.
Nothing New, 17 Sep 2020Xiaomi lost their mind , the price increase over last year is biggest one this yearWhy don't you ever read something to know what they do this year instead of talking this.... Lol all the cheapest parts but best SD, Poco F1 for life so kids can hold "a flagship". Don't worry they plan to bring more of those budget phones yet.
Seriously ? Is this some sort of a joke ?
699 for a Xiaomi with an LCD , cant stop laughing....
