The new invention, whether it's a cast, app now Microsofts running Android apps on PC (IF) you upgraded and paid more money for another phone usually expensive phone, although you have a relatively new Samsung Phone, you must buy another more Expensive Phone of Samsungs just to get 1 stupid but cool extra like using Android apps on your Windows PC!
      Thanks,

Anonymous, 18 Sep 2020It's available but doesn't work with non-Samsung phones, that was his point. You can... moreYou can use Your Phone with any android, but using apps on Windows doesn't work on Non Samsung phones. I use Your Phone on my Pixel 4 XL. I get all my notifications, I can make and receive calls, and I can reply to texts. I just can't use this app mirroring feature.

A thing called Vysor already does this for all android phones, rooted or non rooted. Available for Mac Win Linux.

This however make it more casual. Basically its just a vnc to your phone, nothing is running on your PC.

All it takes is a virtual machine setup.
Its been perfectly possible since the days of winmo 6.5,so nearly, 20 years if you had the right software and good enough hardware.
And been possible with android since pre release versions.

AnonD-909757, 18 Sep 2020He doesn't understand that, the issue with the Exynos isn't its existence, actually ... moreThe way I see it is this. Samsung is not able to sell enough Exynos chip phones to reinvest enough back into R&D to improve it. If they stopped selling Snapdragon phones and sold exynos solely then they could because they'll retain the revenue of selling exynos instead of giving to Qualcomm. They'll also save costs of developing two phones that run different chipsets for each model. Of course, if they sold exynos in US they'll run the risk of becoming another Huawei, so they're stuck having to develop two separate phones that run different chipsets for each model. They don't want to abandon developing their own chips in case there is a US ban but selling phones with chips from another company is stifling their chip development. So it's just another chapter on US tyranny.

Anonymous, 18 Sep 2020Also true. There will always be compromise for someone, but it really shouldn't be Exynos... moreHe doesn't understand that, the issue with the Exynos isn't its existence, actually if Samsung didn't rushed it (which is why it was so bad compared to the Snapdragon) but rather made it in a way where there was a real reason that would make peoples want to use it AND offer to everyone the choice between the two chipsets, there wouldn't be any issue, but having a phone with a chipset for a limited market then forcing everyone else to get a lesser alternative is a big negative action.

Yet this is exactly what this guy advocate, everyone MUST have the same thing with no room for any kind of choice, simply because he decided so.
It would be like saying that no flagship or middle range phones should exist because the majority buy lower range phones.
Or saying that because a lot of peoples like using heated seats in cars, there shouldn't be any car, option or not, that should be made without it, even if there are peoples in places where the lower temperature still require to use aircons, doesn't matter, regardless if some peoples don't want it and could save cost and money, it MUST be included in every cars, thankfully this isn't the case and unlike smartphones, the automobile industry offer you choices through diversity.
Imagine being the guy who DEMAND that all cars are automatic, regardless if a lot of peoples want to use manual...Well, that's him right here.

Keep calling everybody who disagrees with you a stupid person and im sure some brands will listen to your wishes.
There is nothing wrong with your opinion, but the way you are expressing it.

When an existing product is bad, it is totally normal to criticize it, it's how feedback work, and since the smartphone industry care very little about customers, few constructive criticisms aren't going to make it.
Literally, Samsung is forcing the Exynos on non US buyers without any justifiable reasons behind it while the Snapdragon alternative is better, so those complains are totally justified, but peoples don't get it.

Yet, the same peoples also go and complain about any kind of proposal, like even mentioning you would like the possibility of a chances to perhaps have in the future a potential likeliness to maybe see smartphones manufacturers consider the eventuality of being willing to think about examining the early design stage of a phone without front camera, or any really other idea that isn't THE absolute norm, and you get tons of peoples criticizing it for absolutely no reasons.
But not like "I wouldn't like such device", those are almost willing to fight to their death to prevent the slight possibility of such idea being one day made in even a single smartphone, as it if would kill them and all their relatives.
They react toughly and are strongly dedicated into criticizing negatively, with most of the time not a single valid reason, any ideas which doesn't match their own tastes that anyone (brands or user) can have, regardless if it is the worse or the best idea of the decade.
But they don't like when you complain about a product that clearly is the lesser option but still being enforced to customers...

And once the idea became popular, they praise it...
                                      Peoples...

Fragmentation issue was prominent in the early days, not anymore.
Also Windows has way better integration with Android compared to iOS.

Pretty sure you don't have much experience with Android.
The feature Samsung is marketing here is already available via third party app.
