I don't know about any accessible 8K cameras for ordinary consumers(for reasonable price). Samsung did that with multiple of their phones.
Though there is some difference between phone and mirrorless, having one and not having one is what matters.

8K is totally useless. If you see current media on YouTube most media produced with full hd or max 4k.
Rather focus on giving 8k to APAC, focus giving Snapdragon processor instead Exynos that is still value to customers.

Anonymous, 18 Sep 2020Zenfone 6,ROG 3 can also do 4k120 Both on the promotional video and on their official website Sony clearly shows that the Xperia 5 II is capable of recording 4K 120fps video in "HDR" not just the "regular" 4K 120fps like the Asus ROG 3 or some other phones.

even 4K has no benefits over 1080p in mobile media consumption.we watch 98% of videos in tiny 6.5" phone screens.it doesn't make a difference unless you connect oyur phone to a 55-65" display via hdmi.of course there is no 8K TVs on the market means you have to watch everything up to 4K.
