sentinel, 17 Jul 2012I already use a nano SIM on my Droid Razr. They use Micro-sim
So, reading all your comments, and also other ones on many sites, nobody wants a stupid nanoSIM. So why are they doing it???
another stupid idea. the micro sim is perfect as it is. so why change if it aint broke
AnonD-60055, 17 Jul 2012Obviously so there's more room in the phone for technology rather than redundant plastic jerkOK,
so they remove the "redundant plastic jerk" and replace it with some metal tray sized about the same with the "redundant plastic jerk"
I know every millimeter is important but give me a break. Normal SIM cards were good for watch-sized phones and now they'll put pico-nano-two-atoms-and-a-photonSIM cards into phones with 4-5 inch displays. And make phones even thinner and more breakable and batteries even smaller.
I with all of you. apple is not right when it comes to phones... android for life
What's the dam point of downscaling the size of a Sim card?? First micro Sim, now probably nano Sim.... And yet you won't have a memory card slot.... Rather than making you're Sim card small (which doesn't take up much space), make your charger smaller which is uselessly big.
what is the advantage of nano sim card or micro sim card. normally the development for new feature but without any advantage its meaning nothing
I really hope they don't go with Apple's Design because it s not backwards compatible with the micro-sim. At least with a micro-sim, I can buy an Adapter to use on an older phone.
[deleted post]cant you post something constructive like i hate the nano sim or i like the micro sim instead of being a silly little child!!!!
AnonD-60055, 17 Jul 2012Obviously so there's more room in the phone for technology rather than redundant plastic jerkWell at least my phone is too roomy [GALAXY Note] ! unlike the iPhone
NOKIA is dead, how come they need the nano-SIM cards!!!!
Motorola, Nokia, RIM and Apple have proposed a design for the nano-SIM to the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), which eventually chose the Apple solution.
What's the point? The phones are going to be that small so they couldn't house the micro one? That one was already too small to handle...
BTW, I seem to be the fifth!
